Intramuros
In the heart of the busy streets of Manila lies a walled city rich in history and culture. If some of you can't afford to go to Vigan, just go to Intramuros ;) It is a city which preserved the Spanish Era style of Architecture, from the churches, streets, restaurants and a lot more. Inside Intramuros is the Manila Cathedral and San Agustin Church. The most famous attraction in Intramuros is Fort Santiago where our national hero was imprisoned during his last days before his death. Inside Fort Santiago was the Rizal Shrine, it is a museum about the last days of Rizal inside Fort Santiago. So me and my brother decided to walk around Intramuros not knowing that Fort Santiago was on the other side of the gate where we entered, so we had no choice but to walk the long way and not ride any type of transportation. Along the long walk are cool places to take insta pics so the walk also has its perks. I promise you that the exhausting walk is worth it for the picturesque views worth taking pictures of. Another story:)) so after we visited Fort Santiago we need to go back to the gate we entered, so it's another tiring walk and this time my knees are becoming weak like seriously but at the end of the day the trip to Intramuros was fun and history is not boring at all :)) Intramuros is truly a gem full of charm inside the urban landscape of Metro Manila, it is not only full of history but also full of cool places to take Instagram worthy pictures. Check the photos below for you to get a glimpse of Intramuros.

The classic Filipino Kalesa. You can ride one of these inside Intramuros while touring the walled-city so that you can get the full experience of Intramuros. |

So this is me hanging from a lamp post near the short bridge going to Fort Santiago's gate. This picture was taken to show the outfit I'm wearing in a not so obvious way :) |

Another Picture of me, obvi. So this is the fountain near Fort Santiago where you can take fun photos like I did for your Instagram. This was really a hard shot to get since this was probably my 8th attempt jumping again and again.
I almost forgot, there is no entrance fee in Intramuros but there is a Php 75 entrance fee in Fort Santiago which is worth it I promise ;) It is better to go in the afternoon so it's not that hot to walk around and it is open from 8 AM to 6 PM.
*The pictures are taken by me and the pictures of me being in it were taken by my brother
